Jordan Poole’s football stock has continued to rise since he received his first offer to play Div. I football last summer.

He announced via his Twitter page over the weekend another school had thrown its name into the hat, making it nine total.

Coastal Carolina, located in Conway, S.C., joined East Carolina, Duke, Appalachian State, N.C. State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Louisville in offering to Poole.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound two-way football player for the Colts said Coastal Carolina is a very good school.

“Even though they’re not as big as some of my other offers, it doesn’t really matter,” Poole said. “Any school that believes in me and can fit me into a position to thrive in football and lift, I am a fan (of theirs).”

Poole added he will likely make his decision as to where he will be playing college football in 2021 sometime this June or July.

The Chanticleers, members of the Sun Belt Conference, moved up to the highest level of NCAA Div. I football, the Football Bowl Series, in 2017.
