On Monday, Stanly County commissioners will have a public hearing about a multi-million dollar manufacturing company coming to the county.

County Manager Andy Lucas released an announcement April 27 regarding a public hearing for the board to consider incentives for “a large, heritage manufacturer.”

The meeting will also have a vote on the grant of those incentives for the business which the announcement said should bring $325 million in taxable investment to the county and at least 400 jobs.

Monday’s meeting will also look for the board to vote on employee and dependent health insurance premium rates for next fiscal year.

The board will also consider and vote on a budget amendment for the Webb Road Water Line Extension Project Fund. At the board’s previous meeting, the commissioners approved the low bid of Herrin Industrial for the project.
