The Town Board of New London will have its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Book Signing
The Rev. Vanessa Chambers will have a drive-through book signing from 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 22. “Families of Love and Hate” will be available the day of the signing. If you want one please give her a ring at 980-521-1917 to reserve a signed book to be picked up through the drive on that day.

We are so sad to hear of all of the bereavements families here in the county, such as those for the family of Henry Rush, Earl Oakes of New London, Lynn Covington, Gertrude Lilly, Eddie Thomas, Bobby Harris Sr., Eugene Watkins, Jimmy Watkins and the family of Mickey Clark, and the family of Antoinette Cato.
