The North Stanly women’s basketball team made it three straight wins dating back to last season over South Davidson with tonight’s 61-45 win over South Davidson.

Senior Lexi Goode led North (2-2, 1-1 YVC) with 22 points while Mary Beth Bowers added 17 points. Both Nyleiah White and Ghia Dunlap just missed double figures scoring eight each for the Comets.

A lopsided second-quarter offensively for North led to the win as the Comets outscored South Davidson 23-9 and built a 35-19 halftime advantage.

The Comets will play at Albemarle Tuesday.
