West Stanly’s JV football game with Mount Pleasant cancelled for ‘health concerns’

A tweet Monday night on the official West Stanly Athletics account on Twitter stated Thursday’s JV football game between the Colts and Mount Pleasant has been cancelled.
The tweet stated the reason for the cancellation was “due to safety and health concerns.”
According to West Stanly athletic director Chad Yow, the health and safety concerns were for the players.
