Central Elementary secures perimeter

On the advice of local law enforcement, one of Stanly’s schools has been put on lockdown.
According to officials at Stanly County Schools, Central Elementary has been put on secured perimeter due to activity in the area.
The school was put on secured perimeter “under the advisement of law enforcement.”
