Ruby Allen Tucker, 92, of Locust, N.C. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2018.

Ruby was born September 13, 1925 in Anson County, N.C. to the late Arthur Benjamin Allen and the late Mae Curlee Allen.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Jenkins Tucker; and her sister, Marie Teeter.

Survivors include her daughters, Dianne Barnette and husband Larry; Cindy Love and husband David; grandchildren Jeff Little and Shelly Hall; grandchildren by marriage Stephen Barnette and Brandy Thomas; eight great grandchildren; and her sister, Margaret Burgess.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-3 p.m., Sunday, August 26, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Locust. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. officiated by Rev. Dr. Tommy Ross and Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
