Memorial Baptist Church has presented scholarships to two South Stanly High School graduates.

Aiden Wilson was a state qualifier in wrestling, student council secretary and a member of National Technical Honor Society.

He plans on attending Pfeiffer University to major in biology, then attend a medical school with the goal of becoming a surgeon.

Drew Gaddy played varsity basketball for all four years, became a member of the 1,000-point club and received all-conference honors.

He was a member of the National Honor Society and achieved all A’s throughout high school.

He plans on attending NC State University to study civil engineering.
