Albemarle Rotary Club donates to SCCM

The Albemarle Rotary Club collected more than 200 pounds of food for Stanly Community Christian Ministry at its regular meeting on Oct. 17.
SCCM Director and Rotary member Heather Kilde provided a list of needed items. Rotary President Jay Almond and Rotary member Adrian Shepherd made the delivery to SCCM.
The Albemarle Rotary Club meets each Thursday at noon at Atrium Health Stanly for fun, fellowship, networking, food and interesting presentations. Rotary members place an emphasis on service to others. There are currently 80 members of the Albemarle Rotary Club, which is part of Rotary International.
Rotary International has 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries around the world. New members are always welcome.
