Ever wanted to decorate a bra? Here’s your chance

A local organization is going “topless” for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Stanly Arts Guild will present 2022 Cups for the Cure Oct. 1-29.

Entrants are asked to create and/or decorate a bra to be auctioned off to the public to raise funds for the free mammogram program at the Stanly Health Foundation.

Bra take-in will 1-5 p.m. Sept. 30 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 1.

Bras will be on display in the front window from Oct. 1-8, then will be moved to locations in the store with bid sheets for the public to place bids thru Oct. 28. All winning bidders will be notified so bras can be picked up Oct. 29.
