Student receives master of accounting degree

Cameron Starnes, son of Jim and Cathy Starnes of Albemarle, recently graduated with a 2021 Master of Accounting degree from UNC-Chapel Hill Kenan Flagler Business School.

Starnes earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2020.

He served as president of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and later served on the executive board of Delta Sigma Pl, the UNC business school fraternity.

Following his sophomore year, he studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science for a summer. After his senior year he was an intern at Ernst and Young, one of the big four accounting firms, and is now employed in the Charlotte office of Ernst and Young, as a full-time risk advisory consultant.
