Church hosts John Denver tribute as fundraiser
New London United Methodist Church will have a Music and Missions fundraiser for KAIROS Prison Ministry at 7 p.m. Jan. 27.
“Rocky Mountain High … In Carolina” will feature Rod Almond and Aspenglow (David Chandler – guitar, vocals; Lisa Ewers – percussion, vocals; Daniel Dickens – piano; Martha Sue Hall – upright bass; Tim Hedrick – keyboard, sax; Carmella Hedrick – woodwinds; Evan Hill – guitar, vocals) in a tribute to John Denver.
Admission is by donation.
The church is at 206 S. Main St., New London.
