Thanks for help against Senate bill

It is with many thanks to every elected official who took the time to oppose SB531 that Rep. Justin Burr placed on the legislative calendar for a week without it being heard.

I enjoyed being in Raleigh to hand deliver the Resolution of Opposition passed unanmously by the Stanfield Town Council to many representatives, and gained much insight into how the legislative branch operates.

It is with much anticipation that great things are ahead for a county of great people. This collaboration of elected officials voicing concerns for the harm of this bill, shows a willingness and dedication to help make Stanly great.

It also reaffirms my belief that we can truly serve our towns and this great county as servants of the people.

Once again, thanks to all who opposed this bill, and God bless.
