Rotary will host Red Dress Gala

The Albemarle Rotary Club will host the “Red Dress Gala” Feb. 10 at Hilltop Farm on Old Whitney Road.

The Red Dress Gala is a formal, black tie social featuring dancing, dinner and music. There will also be a silent auction.

All proceeds will benefit Gift of Life International. This is a program begun by Rotarians to provide open heart surgery for children, especially in parts of the world where operating rooms and skilled heart doctors are limited.

Rotary is known for both local and international projects which focus on seven different areas including fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene; saving mothers and children; supporting education; growing local economies; and protecting the environment.

Tickets are available at eventbrite.com. Search for Red Dress Gala.
