Awards were recently presented at a meeting of Albemarle Rotary Club for events happening over the past year.

Albemarle Rotary Club Rotary Foundation Chairman Doug Mattox, left, presented the Paul Harris Award to Ray and Dawn Allen. The Paul Harris Award is presented to each Rotarian who contributes at least $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation. All members of the Albemarle Rotary Club make regular contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Harris was the founder of Rotary in 1905 and the award is named in his honor. (Photo by CALVIN GADDY)
