Stanly County Senior Services SHIIP program will host another Shred-A-Thon at the Stanly County Senior Center. This event will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 10.

It is a free drive-thru shredding service. Examples of items that can be shredded include papers, folder, paperclips, binder clips and hanging file folders. Individuals will also receive tips and a goody bag with information to protect from identity theft and fraud.

On May 8 the Stanly County Senior Center SHIIP Program will sponsor bingo where we will play fraud bingo.

Senior Services will give away a free shredder at the Shred-A-Thon event and at Wednesday bingo.
