Stanly County 4-H sells fruit plants, trees
Stanly County 4-H will have a fall sale featuring fruit plants and trees.
Stanly County 4-H is taking plant sale orders through Oct. 20. Plant pickup will be at the Agri-Civic Center 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Nov. 3.
All proceeds go towards 4-H programming for youth in Stanly County.
The 4-H sale offers blueberries, muscadines, figs and blackberries. Fruit trees available are apple, peach, pear, plum, persimmon and pecan.
Clients are asked to mail in payments if possible, or bring exact cash or check on pick-up day (no cards will be accepted).
Stanly County 4-H is a program offered through Cooperative Extension. It serves youth ages 5-18 by giving youth leadership roles, positive youth/adult relationships and lifelong skills.
