LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Many churches helped Appalachian outreach

We would like to thank the following churches who provided a total of 877 filled backpacks to needy children in North Carolina through the Appalachian Christmas Outreach Ministry project in 2020: Philadelphia Baptist, Immanuel Baptist, Forks of Little River Baptist, Bethel Baptist/Montgomery County, South Albemarle Baptist, Poplin’s Grove Baptist, Vine Life Baptist, Barbee’s Grove Baptist, Kinza Baptist and Big Lick Baptist.

We would also like to thank a transportation company in Charlotte for providing transportation of the backpacks to Ashe County.

We will be assisting with this ministry again in 2021. If your church would like to participate or find out more about this ministry, please contact Delaine Eudy at Kinza Baptist at 704-242-0755 or go online to www.baptistsonmission.org. Thank you.
