Veteran of the Month – February 2023

Shannon Pendegraph retired from the 145th Airlift Wing Squadron, the Maintenance section, after approximately 20 years.

She held the rank of Master Sergeant and served on active duty for a few years. Most of her service was with the NC Air National Guard as a full-time Active Guard/Reservist.
Shannon had many deployments out of the country, including the Middle East and Germany.

She is currently active with local military organizations, including as commander of the Stanly County Disabled American Veterans, secretary of the Veterans Council of Stanly County and is an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Norwood.
